After all the waiting, my pre-ordered copy of Gravity Rush finally arrived. I’ve been waiting for this game even before the PS Vita was even available. Everything about this game just seemed to say that it was going to be a hit. Fortunately, the early reviews corroborated this and I took the plunge to pre-order the game. I’ve already played a few missions and gotten a good feel for the game. I’ll be posting my review soon, so stay tuned!
Not sure if you were lucky enough to submit your pre-order for Gravity Rush, but if you were, you might be in for a surprise. Amazon is apparently shipping its orders 3 days early based on what I received via email today:
We have good news! One of your pre-ordered items is now eligible for release date delivery and has been upgraded at no additional charge. Your new delivery estimate is:
Previous estimated arrival date: June 15, 2012
New estimated arrival date: June 12, 2012
Can’t say I’m complaining. I’m definitely stoked to see this game in its entirety. The demo was way too short, but even then, I can see the amount of detail that was put into the game. Stay tuned for a review!
For the Assassin’s Creed lovers out there, you might be excited about the possibility of Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation coming to the PS Vita. This news comes a user by the name of NeoGaf, who posted in a video game forum that he had received the July issue of Game Informer ahead of time, which reveals details of its release on the PS Vita. Specifically, he states that the game will have “multiplayer specifically tailored to the Vita experience.” The game is supposed to be set in New Orleans and “across the Gulf o Mexico” and is scheduled to be released with its console counterpart on October 30th. These two pictures, seen here and here, seem to corroborate his claims. Here’s to hoping!
