First it was Europe, and now it’s the US. The Facebook app has officially been pulled from PSN. According to Sony, it’s due to issues on Facebook’s side. Joystiq reports:
“The Facebook application for PS Vita is not available at this point in time. We are currently looking into this to restore it to normal operational status. We will announce further details when ready.”
For those of you who are like me and already downloaded the app, we’re out of luck too. Apparently the app is just plain broken, which might explain why it was pulled.
As mentioned in a previous post, Sony has partnered with Playboy’s 2008 Cyber Girl of the Year Jo Garcia. As part of the pre-launch festivities, Sony will be hosting Jo Garcia in 8 cities around the US, one of them being at the Vita Hill Social Club in Chicago.
While it is free to attend, you need to reserve a spot for yourself via their Facebook page first. Just be prepared to be around a lot of dudes as I can’t imagine the ratio of guys to girls to be anything but max capacity to 1.
